Peer Review Process

The journal uses a blind peer review process. Before being sent to peer review, submitted manuscripts are pre-reviewed for relevance, and suitable submission format. Manuscripts that are submitted for peer review are reviewed by two reviewers with relevant experience in the field. The Journal uses double-blind peer review methods, where both the reviewer and the author are blinded. Reviewers are requested to provide detailed, constructive critiques along with suggestions for improving the work. The editor-in-chief makes the final decision.

Criteria for editorial decisions:

When choosing manuscripts, the study's strength and quality are taken into account. The editor may respond to submissions in the following ways: accept, accept pending further changes, reject, minor revision, major revision, incomplete or not ready for submission, or accept pending additional revisions.

The time period for reviews

After receiving a paper, reviewers have two weeks to do their reviews and submit them, with the peer review process taking three weeks to complete in total. Every review is monitored, and those who submit reviews after the deadline are notified.

Revision:

Revision requests for manuscripts must be made within two weeks following the request. If there are any questions or if extra time is required, the corresponding author should get in touch with the editor. As a result, the entire period from submission to decision-making may be six weeks.

All comments, and recommendations must be addressed in the revision and include an explanation when the requested has not made. A Word document including a list of reviewer comments and the itemized changes made to the manuscript to satisfy each revision request must be uploaded by the corresponding author. Any additions or corrections made to the manuscript must be indicated within the text so that the editor and reviewers may see where the changes have been made.

Accepted manuscripts:

All manuscripts accepted for publication are subject to editing for presentation, style, and grammar. Any major redrafting is agreed upon by the author.

The peer review process for handling submissions from editors, employees, or members of the editorial board:

Editors, staff, and editorial board contributions are all processed in the same way as regular submissions. During the review phase, submitters will not be involved in the decision-making or reviewer selection process. Editors refuse to proofread their own writing.
